Over 40 and you can’t get a job interview. Why?

You’ve gone back to school got new skills. You’ve had your resume professionally done and updated. Now it’s time to put them to use. You start applying for jobs. When you get to the job questionnaire, you see these three questions somewhere:

1. Are you over 40?
2. What is your date of birth?
3. What is your Social Security number?

This is illegal. The site or company may say the question it’s for tax purpose only. These questions may also be used to screen out applicants over 40. Let’s band together and prevent this question from being asked until after you are hired.

You get to the interview and you are asked to fill out the application. On the application the age question comes up. This is also illegal; the age question should only come up, after you are hired. No exception!
Not only is this unfair, but it is illegal!
